Kent Wildlife Trust’s Big Lottery funded three year project, Painting The Town Green is currently working with the local community in Newington near Ramsgate to invigorate the green spaces at St Christopher Church. In 2011 the idea of reintroducing water voles to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve was first suggested and now, three years later, we are delighted to have recently reintroduced fifty of them.
This month Volunteers from Kent Wildlife Trust (KWT), Kentish Stour Countryside Partnership (KSCP) and The Conservation Volunteers (TCV) Wild Crew, supported by the Heritage Lottery and Wye Parish Council completed a mass clear up along the River Stour.
