Go Wild at Free Family Festival this Summer

The only event of its kind in the southeast, the Kent Wildlife Trust Festival of Wildlife - now in its eighth year - is back on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August between 10am - 4pm at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and promises to be even more entertaining for all the family.

Celebrate the wonderful world of wildlife in a splendid lakeside, woodland and garden setting, with a packed programme of activities including the ever popular bug hunts and guided nature walks. The Kent Wildlife Trust Festival of Wildlife, now in its eighth year, is coming to Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve on Saturday 15th and Sunday 16th August between 10am–4pm.

There will be opportunities to watch traditional woodturning demonstrations and participate in the Wonderful Woodland Wings workshop to make your very own pair of wings!

There’s a woodland themed vintage ‘pop up’ tea room and an array of food stalls offering produce sourced in Kent and surrounding areas. Picnickers are also welcome.

Little ones are invited to dress up as their favourite woodland character with prizes for the most imaginative!

Live music from local bands along with traditional folk dancing is sure to add to the atmosphere whilst browsing the arts and crafts stalls or sampling the tasty goodies.

The Festival will be well signposted from the A25 Bradbourne Vale Road between Bat & Ball and Riverhead and there is ample parking at £3 per car on site. Railway stations are close by at Sevenoaks and Bat & Ball, and Sevenoaks Town Partnership is operating a vintage bus service to and from the Festival.
