Sun Club - co-ordinator of the Wilder Kent Awards application

Invicta Sun Club was awarded Gold in the Community Group category at the Kent Wilder Awards, recognising years of dedicated ecological and environmental work.

Kent Wildlife Trust alongside other charities Woodland Trust, CPRE Kent and local campaign group Friends of Oaken Wood, is calling on residents to take part in the Kent Mineral Sites Plan Regulation 19 consultation -warning that proposals within the plan to quarry within Oaken Wood would wipe out at least 41 hectares of irreplaceable ancient woodland near Maidstone.
