Help Bison learn about hibernation with this fun activity trail around the nature park & gardens this winter!

On weekdays from Monday 1st December until Thursday 18th December, follow the main character from the children's book 'the Bison and the Butterfly' as she learns all about hibernation and how different creatures' life cycles change with the seasons.

Introduce all ages to 'wilding' by learning more about the real animals in West Blean woods that inspired the characters in the book- from dung beetles to bison!

Pick up an activity pack from Reception to follow the trail around the nature park and answer the questions. Once you've completed the trail, you can take home your winter puzzle booklet to keep you busy till Christmas arrives! £5 per pack, pay on the day.

You'll also be able to dress up as a Bison Ranger to get the perfect family photo to remember your visit!

Open 10am-3pm, we recommend starting the trail by 2.30pm to give you time to complete the activities before closing. Enter the Pond Cafe and turn right (to the left-hand side of the large display screen) to find the door to Reception and pick up your activity pack.

There is no need to book in advance to take part in the trail.
