Join us at Oare Marshes Nature Reserve as we team up with Bird Wise North Kent for a gentle walk around the coastline with time to stop and observe the birds we spot along the way. The walk is suitable for beginners and experienced birders alike. Well behaved dogs are welcome but they must be kept on a lead to avoid disturbance.
Meeting place - The main car park, Oare Marshes Nature Reserve, Church Road, Oare, Faversham ME13 0QA
Time - 12.30 to 14.30

Facilities - There are no toilet facilities at this location - the nearest ones are in pubs and cafes in Oare or the Sainsburys supermarket close by.
Type of walk - Circular walk around the reserve on the pathway along the waters edge. Paths are fairly flat but can be muddy if it has been raining so suitable footwear is recommended
It is free to attend our walks but spaces are limited so please book your spot to avoid disappointment.

Seasonally accessible for wheelchair users, in wet conditions it's not possible to complete a circuit to the east hide. There are RADAR gates, the path to the sea hide is surfaced with compacted roadstone and is level. All visitors to stay on circular footpaths.
