Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve is home to many bird species during the autumn; spend some time observing them on this guided walk.
Join us for a guided walk of Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, taking some time to observe the birds found there during the autumn. Your guide will be one of the reserve's dedicated volunteers, who knows exactly what to look out for!
With the trees shedding their leaves, this is a good time to see the regular woodland species including Goldcrest and Treecreeper. These are augmented by flocks of overwintering Siskin, and there are regular sightings of Redwing and Redpoll. On the lakes, the resident ducks are joined by Shoveler, Gadwal, Pochard and Wigeon, whilst there is also the chance of seeing Snipe, Kingfisher and the elusive Water Rail.
We recommend you bring a pair of binoculars to make the most of this walk. It could be muddy underfoot, so please wear sturdy footwear.
This walk is recommended for over 12s only.
