Wilder Blean Bison Fundraising Pack

Bison Calf by Tim Horton

Your Bison Fundraising Pack

West Blean just welcomed a new biodiversity boost

A second bison calf has been born as part of the Blean Bison project. Now that the herd is growing, work is beginning to install bison bridges: crossing points that will offer the ecosystem engineers full access to the 200-hectare woodland to continue wilding the landscape. These bridges will also provide viewpoints for visitors, offering the best opportunity to spot the bison and other conservation grazers of West Blean and Thornden Woods.

We need your help to support the development of the project so we can connect the site for the bison, Exmoor ponies, Iron Age pigs and longhorn cattle that now live in the forest, shaping the landscape through their natural behaviours.

If you're an individual, family, or community group, you can help us fundraise to provide more space for the growing herd.

If you're a business, sponsorship opportunities are available to become a bison benefactor, helping to support the UK's first free-roaming bison herd in thousands of years. Your business can also help us fundraise using the resources below.
