Update on the Nature-based Solutions team

Spotlight on the Nature-based Solutions team

Kent’s wildlife needs to be restored to much higher levels. We can no longer allow common things to become rare. We can only do this by restoring large-scale habitat from degraded land. Doing this will contribute to solving global problems. But we won’t be able to do this unless we publicly aspire to a higher level of impact and show that we can deliver this.

The growing Nature-based Solutions team at Kent Wildlife Trust is leading on strategic direction and thinking to respond to threats from climate change and increase resilience for climate adaptation, developing new tools, techniques, approaches and relationships.

We are delighted that Dan Wynn, Head of Nature-based Solutions and Ross Johnson, Nature-based Solutions Manager have recently joined the team and they will shortly be supported by two Nature-based Solutions Development Officers, posts we are currently recruiting for.
