Visitor Centre & Events Volunteering Update - December 2022
Romney Marsh Community Garden
The Romney Marsh Community Garden team have been getting well and truly stuck in to their volunteering as winter arrives. As well as continuing to grow delicious vegetables and crafting wooden gifts to sell at the visitor centre, they’re even managing a smile after the less glamourous job of clearing a drain. Thank you to Paul and Tim the Mud Monsters and the whole garden team for all your hard work!
Events
Events volunteers Maria and Lindy have done a wonderful job this year preparing and delivering craft activities for our Family Fun Days at Tyland Barn. After a trial event at Easter, over 70 children came along during October half-term to make autumn leaf wreaths and pinecone spiders, and we’ll be continuing these events throughout 2023. We couldn’t have done it without you, thank you!
