The 66th Annual General Meeting 2024

Notice is hereby given that the 66th Annual General Meeting of Kent Wildlife Trust will be held in the Darwin Conference Suite, Darwin College, University of Kent, Canterbury CT2 7NY, on Saturday 20th July 2024 commencing at 12.30pm.

Members are invited to attend in person and provision will be made to join the meeting online. Further details on how to register for the meeting will be emailed to all members and made available on the KWT website in the coming months.

Agenda

  1. Welcome and apologies for absence
  2. Approval of the minutes of the 65th Annual General Meeting held on Saturday 15th July 2023.

The draft minutes will be made available in advance on the Trust’s website.

  1. Presentation of the Trustees’ Annual Report and Accounts for the Year ended 31st December 2023:

i. Report on the year by Chairman Dr Chris West and CEO Evan Bowen-Jones

ii. Report on the accounts by Hon. Treasurer Rachel Hoey.

The approved Trustees’ Annual Report and Accounts will be made available in advance on the Trust’s website.  Members will be invited to submit questions in advance.

  1. Appointment of Auditors.
  2. Election, re-election, and retirement of members of Council (Trustees).
  3. Questions from Members

Members will be invited to submit questions in advance.

If you would like to submit a question for the members of Council or the Chief Executive to answer, please send your question to: AGM@kentwildlife.org.uk at least five days before the meeting.

Members are entitled to appoint another person as a proxy to exercise their rights to attend, speak and vote at the meeting. If you would like to arrange a proxy vote, please email AGM@kentwildlife.org.uk at least seven days before the meeting.
