We offer a reliable basic of £8.21 per hour plus 30% commission with mileage allowance and expenses paid. Full time OTE for this role ranges from £20-48k.
We attend venues all across Kent and welcome applicants who live within or can easily commute to the county. Your appointed work location could be different each day and you will be appointed a sales region within a reasonable proximity of your home location.
Your aim will be to recruit new members for our charity, securing reliable and long-term investment for our work.
Attending a variety of venues each day, from farm shops to festivals, you will speak to like-minded people who care about nature and wildlife. This may be the very first time that they have dealt with or even heard of us, so building an instant rapport and capturing people’s attention is crucial.
You’ll be armed with full support from head office, all the right tools such as a fully branded mobile setup with displays and literature plus an iPad to capture details easily and professionally. However, your overall success will depend on your own skills and willingness to try.
If you are a friendly, talkative and motivated individual that wants to make a real difference in the charity sector then this could be the perfect role for you. You’ll deliver key information to the public about our plans for a #WilderKent and how they can support the wildlife-saving work that we do by joinging as members. As a front-line ambassador you will represent all the values we stand for and be part of a passionate, lively and ethical fundraising team.
Your enthusiasm will see you travel to a variety of venues and manage your own time efficiently and reliably.
No formal qualifications are required though you will need to have a strong and outgoing personality and be good at taking personal and payment details accurately on electronic devices.
You'll need to be able to learn the fundamentals of our #WilderKent philosophy and relay these plus any associated information to the public to gain their trust and encourage their support.
As you will be visiting a variety of venues and locations in your designated region of Kent, a full driving licence and access to a vehicle is essential.
