Nature Tots

Join us at Nature Tots for playgroup gone wild

Spring is upon us and so are our new courses, starting in April 2021, at our Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve and Tyland Barn Nature Park in Maidstone.

Nature Tots is a different type of playgroup where pre-school children spend time outside immersed in nature, enjoying a variety of activities in stunning surroundings, come rain or shine.

You can book for our scheduled Nature Tots courses below. To be one of the first to find out about all future Nature Tots plans, please sign up to our mailing list.

Watch previous participants talk about what they love about Nature Tots

Nature Tots is Forest School tailored specifically for little ones, and can inspire a love of nature that lasts a lifetime. It’s run by Forest School leaders and is a wonderful opportunity for children to explore, discover and learn from nature. With a variety of investigation, construction, art and craft activities on offer, children gain a sense of achievement, leading their own learning as much as possible, with help from accompanying adults.

Wild learning

Nature Tots is den-building, stick-whittling, fire-making, marshmallow-toasting time outside, whatever the weather. It’s designed to make Forest School activities accessible to very young children. Forest School activities are proven to improve self-esteem, confidence and resilience and to develop key skills for independent learning.
