About the event

Come and find out about life under the waves! What marine creatures will you find?

Learn how to safely handle marine animals and how to identify them. Ask any questions about the marine ecosystem and the wildlife that lives there, and have a fun time discovering the amazing creatures which call the Kent coast their home.


Additional booking information

BOOKING ESSENTIAL. All children need to be accompanied by a parent/carer. You do not need to stay for the whole event, but please arrive at the start to hear the safety briefing. In the event of thunder and lightning, or very high winds, the event will be cancelled.

Access to this site involves walking down steep steps and across unsteady loose shingle.

Wheelchair access

Unfortunately due to the nature of this site, there is no wheelchair access.

What to bring

Please wear clothing suitable for the weather – it may be chilly - and sensible shoes – wellies are ideal, or wetsuit shoes or trainers that you do not mind getting wet. No flip-flops or footwear that slips on and off. All equipment will be provided but you are welcome to bring your own.
