Competition

* Entry into the t-shirt design competition will constitute acceptance of these terms and conditions (“Terms and Conditions”). 

* All entries must be scanned and emailed to comms@kentwildlife.org.uk For entrants aged under 18, parents, guardians or carers must include their consent for the entry to be considered within the email. 

* Entry to the t-shirt design competition is free; no purchase is necessary. 

* The design must be the work of the participant. 

* The closing date for the competition is 30th November 2023. 

* T-shirt design competition participants must be residents in the UK, Channel Islands or Isle of Man to enter. Employees of Kent Wildlife Trust or any of its subsidiary or affiliated companies and anyone otherwise connected with operation or fulfilment of the t-shirt design competition are not eligible to take part. 

* No responsibility will be taken for entries not received by the closing date and no correspondence will be entered into. 

* You may only make a maximum of one entry per young person.  

* The winners will be shortlisted by KWT staff. The winners will be chosen by the public via a voting scheme on our website.  Those shortlisted will be informed by email or phone. The winners will be notified by email. If a winner refuses, or is non contactable after 48 hours, KWT reserves the right to award the prize to another participant.  

* The prize is as stated and is non-exchangeable and non-transferable.  

* In the event that, for reasons beyond KWT reasonable control and not related to the winner, KWT is unable to award the prize as described in these Terms and Conditions, KWT reserves the right to make this prize unavailable.  

* The provision of the prize does not imply endorsement by KWT of any third-party supplier of the prize or any third parties concerned in any way with the t-shirt design competition.  

* By taking part in the competition, you hereby consent to a dialogue with KWT by email to ascertain whether you would prefer to remain anonymous, or if you are happy for your name to appear in any future materials.  

* You hereby represent and warrant that any use of your name or other related materials by or on behalf of KWT, comply with all applicable laws, rules, and regulations and does not infringe or otherwise violate the intellectual property or other rights of any third party.  

* By entering you agree that KWT may use your personal data for the purposes of administering the t-shirt design competition. Your personal data will be held in accordance with KWT’s Privacy Policy in place.  

* All KWT’s decisions in relation to the t-shirt design competition are final in all matters and KWT will not enter into any correspondence with participants other than the t-shirt design competition winner and their parent/guardian/teacher who submitted the entry.  

* These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law. The courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction to hear any dispute or claim arising in association with the t-shirt design competition or these Terms and Conditions. 

* By submitting an entry you allow KWT  to use it in their communications. 

* Proof of age will be required from winning entrants in the age-graded categories.
