Woodland Trust Opportunities - July 2022

Woodland Trust very much welcome any KWT volunteers at our networking events. As discussed, there are some great local events coming up in Kent, but others planned elsewhere in the South East for those that like to travel a bit further.

Bioblitz walk and volunteer networking event
Thurs 28th July 11.30 am - 3.30pm, Victory Wood, Kent

Join us at the stunning Victory Wood in Kent as Site Manager, Claire Inglis, guides us through the fantastic and rare buzzing (and non-buzzing!) invertebrates to be found on-site, alongside colleagues from partner group, Bumblebee Conservation Trust and Butterfly Conservation, who will be on hand to answer any questions. Learn more about the habitat and how it is managed, as well as tips on monitoring the wonderful resident insects and the chance to spot a rare Shrill Carder bee! Please bring your own refreshments as there will be time to sit and enjoy the view of the Kentish coastline.

This will be held face-to-face at Victory Wood in Kent and booking is essential.

For more information and to book to attend, please email SEVolunteering@woodlandtrust.org.uk
