Mid and West Kent Downs Volunteering Update - July 2022
So long and thanks for all the cake!
It is very real sadness that we said goodbye to our two trainee wardens at Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve last month, Ruth and Suzie have been with us for the last 11 month, helping with and leading volunteer task, ecological surveys, livestock checking and a raft of other work. As part to their send off they each had a little bag of presents, including some beautifully handmade gift from our very talented volunteer Bob Richards, and a large jar of peanut butter of course! Both of them have already secured new roles, Suzie will be staying with the Trust working with the Greensands Commons project, and Ruth is heading on to pastures new. They and their baking skills will be much missed, but we wish them all the best for the future.
