Romney Marsh Visitor Centre Volunteers

Romney Marsh Visitor Centre

We're looking for volunteers to join our Visitor Centre team at Romney Marsh through the winter months

Our Romney Marsh Visitor Centre is a hub of creative activity. Our volunteers support our work by greeting visitors, working in our grounds, and serving in our small tea bar and shop.  They also play a crucial role in helping out in our art gallery and guiding visitor around the grounds; you'll also be sharing information about our exciting Fifth Continent project

We're looking for volunteers that would like to share their knowledge about Romney Marsh, wildlife and would like to help us to connect people with nature.  You don't need to be an expert in all things wildlife, as you'll be learning alongside our friendly and knowledgeable staff members, but you'll need to comfortable mucking in and carrying out a range of duties across the Centre.

It's really helpful for us to have volunteers who can commit to volunteering twice per month, this helps us to plan and to provide plenty of opportunity for you to learn about our work.

You'll be meeting new people, gaining new skills and making a huge difference to our work.  We are happy to provide references for regular volunteers, and are able to reimburse reasonable travel expenses for volunteers.

How to apply

Please complete the application form below and return this to volunteering@kentwildlife.org.uk and we will be in contact to discuss the role a little further.
