Collection Box Volunteer

We're looking for volunteers to help us to collect funds raised across the county. If you have a few hours to spare per month to help us in your local area, this could be the role for you!

We are looking for self-motivated and friendly volunteers who would be able to support our work with local shops and attractions to help us raise funds to protect Kent's wildlife.  

You'll be assigned collection points (in a location of your choosing) and will regularly check the collection boxes, replacing these when needed.  You'll be working closely with our Corporate Development Team and will receive support and advice throughout your volunteering with us.  

You will be asked to

  • Collect, distribute and replace collection boxes in local shops, businesses and other outlets on a regular basis
  • Deposit the funds in an agreed way
  • Maintain on-going relationship with outlets by thanking supporters and promoting the work of Kent Wildlife Trust

To support you in this role you will be issued with an official authority signed by us which must be shown to the siteholder when collecting boxes.

This is a flexible role requiring a few hours of volunteering per month at your convenience and during business hours.
