About the event

Join in with the early birds! Come and enjoy the sounds of spring on this walk around West Blean Woods with the Area Warden.

The dawn chorus is a nature phenomenon not to be missed, and the warden will guide you through the different birdsongs you can hear as you walk through the woodland. Immerse yourself fully into the orchestra of birds at a time when the woodland is most alive!

This safari is aimed at an adult audience, 14-17 year olds may attend with an accompanying adult over 18.

This safari will last approximately 1.5 hours and most of the time will be spent walking or standing. Dawn can be chilly, so please wrap up warm. Much of the route follows surfaced paths, but these can be muddy. Ensure you wear sturdy footwear (during periods of wet weather waterproof footwear is advisable) and clothing suitable for the weather conditions.
