Learning outdoors with Kent Wildlife Trust is fun

Do you want an easy to organise, safe and amazing learning experience for your students in an outdoor environment?

We have 4 different sites across the county that give you a wide range of choice of wildlife and nature activities that offer opportunities both curricular and fun, based on the uniqueness of each site.

Dedicated Tutors and Engaging Activities

Your group will have the undivided attention of a Tutor who will lead them for the whole of your visit; we found that this enables us to continue conversations that begin at one activity into the next and throughout the day.

We also provide all the equipment and materials that are required for the different activities. We only ask that you bring children with the right clothes and smiling faces, and a number of supportive grown-ups - however, we do give them back to you for lunch!

Many of the habitat areas have been designed specifically to enable easy, fun exploration for small hands and to encourage enquiring minds. We work with a team of seasonal Tutors and volunteers to ensure that we can deliver a great day for your students.

Discover the joy of working together outdoors and see how that might lead to an outreach visit or Hotspot project. Forest School is another great way to increase your learning in outdoor environments either at our Base Camps or at school.
