A morning at Ham Fen
About the event
This is a rare opportunity to visit Ham Fen, a nature reserve that is usually closed to the public. Learn about the restoration of the fen and see for yourself the amazing work that is being carried out by our resident beaver colony.
The morning will consist of a walk around the reserve with one of our wardens, to learn about this unique habitat and to observe evidence of beaver activity.
This course is now fully booked but you can add your name to the waiting list by clicking on the orange 'Join Waitlist' button further down this page.
Alternatively, we are also running this event on 23 May, 27 June and 11 July and places may still be available on these dates.
Know before you go
The walk will include uneven paths, narrow bridges and possibly boggy ground.
Wheelchair accessThe nature of the terrain at the reserve means we are unfortunately unable to accommodate wheelchairs.
