About the event

A wildlife pond is the jewel in the crown of any nature friendly garden.  During this online course, the leader will explain in simple steps how to construct, plant and maintain a pond to provide maximum benefit to wildlife and pleasure to the garden owner

The course will consist of a Power point presentation by zoom covering the importance of garden ponds, how to plan, build, plant and maintain them with plenty of time for a Q&A session. Participants are encouraged to email any specific questions in advance of the day. (At least 4 days in advance please)

We hope that participants will gain an understanding of the importance of providing water for wildlife in their gardens. As well as how to maintain a garden pond for the maximum benefit to wildlife and safety of other garden users.
