About the event

Wildlife friendly gardening does not mean letting every weed, pest and disease run riot.  Indeed, a well-managed garden provides a wide range of habitats for wildlife, much of which is vital to the flowers, fruit and vegetables that we want to grow

This online talk takes a look at where the harm comes from, a “prevention is better than cure” approach and wildlife friendly measures open to home gardeners. With plenty of discussion and audience questions.

Suitable for beginners & more experienced gardeners.

Numbers will be restricted to ensure participants obtain maximum benefit from the session.

Led by Alison Marsden, gardening tutor with particular interest in wildlife and wellbeing and KWT Wild About Gardens voluntary advisor since 2015.
