About the event

Join us to experience nature’s benefits, through mindfulness and nature connection. We will explore Sevenoaks Wildlife Reserve, using the Five Ways to Wellbeing and practising different mindfulness techniques to enhance our connection with nature.

After a brief introduction in the visitor centre we will start our walk around the reserve, stopping at hides to practice mindfulness (including listening and breathing exercises and sketching) before returning for a debrief.

It is expected that by attending this course participants will learn how nature can help manage wellbeing, through learning mindfulness techniques and connecting with our environment.

Suitable for beginners and improvers.

Led by Vicky Aitkenhead, Kent Wildlife Trust's Nature and Wellbeing Officer
