About the event

Join us to experience nature’s benefits, through mindfulness and nature connection. We will explore Oare Marshes Nature Reserve, using the Five Ways to Wellbeing and practising different mindfulness techniques to enhance our connection with nature. 

After a brief introduction in the car park we will start our walk around the reserve, stopping at hides to practice mindfulness (including listening and breathing exercises and sketching) before returning  to car park for a debrief. 

It is expected that by attending this course participants will learn how nature can help manage wellbeing, through learning mindfulness techniques and connecting with our environment.

Suitable for beginners and improvers.

No dogs permitted

Mobility

Sturdy and flat paths around the reserves. Car park available. No dogs to be brought on the study session.

What to bring

Appropriate clothing and footwear, binoculars if you have them but not essential. If you have preferred sketching pencils that you like to use then please feel free to bring these.
