Save your pre-loved goods from landfill
We're excited to announce that the county's first wildlife charity shop is coming to the town of Paddock Wood soon - hopefully by the Easter holidays (10th April)!
Each person in the UK on average throws out 400kg of waste each year; so not only will the charity shop help raise finances for the Trust to invest in protecting and improving nature and biodiversity in Kent, but it's also good for the planet, diverting clothes away from landfills and giving you an alternative to the 'throw-away fashion' that we know is bad for the environment.
At a time where 'conscious consumerism' is increasingly popular as a way to help tackle the environmental crisis, Kent Wildlife Trust is helping you to be part of the solution by providing a more sustainable and affordable alternative.
Shopping with us means you can help local wildlife whilst indulging in some retail therapy. A win-win for wildlife and people.
How you can help...
Gift Aid
Did you know, our charity can make 25% more from your donation and it won’t cost you a penny! Using Gift Aid means that for every £1 raised from the sale of the items you donate to us, Kent Wildlife Trust can claim an extra 25p from the tax you pay for the current tax year.
