Honouring Sir David’s 90th Birthday

On the occasion of Sir David Attenborough’s 90th birthday, Kent Wildlife Trust would like to add its congratulations to Sir David for his amazing career (spanning seven decades), and his unswerving passion and dedication to wildlife conservation.

For many years he has given ambassadorial support to The Wildlife Trust’s movement - culminating in his role as President from 1991 to 1995 and President Emeritus in 2012.

Sir David has also supported the work of Kent Wildlife Trust. Most significantly, he officiated at Sandwich and Pegwell Bay when it was declared a National Nature Reserve (NNR) on 26th July 1999.

There is no better voice for wildlife. The importance of his lifelong contribution in opening a window to the natural world has been immeasurable. His passion continues to inspire and entertain millions worldwide and the support he continues to give The Wildlife Trusts, here in Kent and nationwide, has given us hope and encouragement. Congratulations to Sir David.
