Here at Kent Wildlife Trust Forest School we’ve been enjoying the changing seasons and are looking forward to the warmer weather. As a tutor, it has been amazing to see how adaptive and resilient the children have been when working in new environments and a range of weathers. Personally, I have really enjoyed seeing how children who have attended sessions have been developing skills in sharing, empathy and communicating their needs.
Another highlight has been to see how children have mastered essential survival skills such as fire lighting, acknowledging and assessing risks, behaving safely and mastering new skills and processes.
