As consumers, we can all help to influence fisheries practices and reduce fisheries' impacts, simply by selecting the types of fish we eat.

Kent Wildlife Trust is keen to promote sustainable and local fisheries.  Please help us with our Sourcing Seafood project, aimed at encouraging everyone to eat more eco-friendly fish.

Kent Seasearch is run by Kent Wildlife Trust as part of the national Seasearch programme, which is designed for recreational divers to help protect marine wildlife by recording information about habitats and species on their dives. 

Shoresearch is Kent Wildlife Trust’s project involving volunteers recording animals and plants and their habitats on Kent's shores.  The aim of the scheme is to build a comprehensive baseline of data on the county's intertidal wildlife, to identify the most important areas, and assess where changes are occurring.
