For 2017 we have an exciting programme of artists, photographers and makers who will be exhibiting their work.
The last day for this exhbition is Saturday 29th April
Sandra Fernandez, MA RCA
Sandra trained as an illustrator at Harrow College of Art followed by an MA in Natural History Illustration at the Royal College of Art in London. Her latest exhibition with Kent Wildlife Trust shows a range of her contrasting styles. A selection of originals, prints and cards are available to purchase.
"My paintings vary from traditional detailed botanical watercolours to more recent abstracted experiemental pieces in mixed media. The beauty found in natural forms and structures constantly provides me with inspiration for my work.
Drawing my subject directly from life is alwaysmy starting point, event though the subject may subsequently be abstracted, as in my Tree prints through the medium of mon printing. By working in a variety of mediums I am exploring how I can push the boundaries of my work further."
The gallery is open:
- April to October, every day from 10am -5pm
- November, Wednesday to Sunday, 11am-4pm
