Membership volunteer
The Membership team is a very busy team administering all the memberships, donations and mailings from and to approximately 34,000 supporters. We urgently need a volunteer to assist with some of our administrative tasks – e.g. putting together the membership packs, letters in envelopes, photocopying and guillotining. Any hours between 09:00 and 17:30 any day Monday to Friday regularly would be most welcome. Ideally half a day once or twice a week would be great.

Shoresearch and Seasearch
Kent Wildlife Trust runs two volunteer marine survey programmes, one for people on the shore and one for divers. Shoresearch is a programme of training and organised events to record intertidal habitats and species around the Kent coast, also providing field training and experience in species identification and surveys.
Kent Seasearch is part of the national Seasearch programme of training courses and diving surveys for recreational divers to record seabed habitats and species. Volunteers are invited to join the organized events, and to undertake independent surveys whenever they go out onto the shore, or go out diving. No expert knowledge about marine life is required to join in, as training is provided for both schemes. The formal Seasearch qualifications are recognized across the UK. These survey programmes have a long-term view to identifying sites of particular marine wildlife value, and mapping subtidal seabed habitats. We are looking for volunteers who have an interest in marine wildlife (no expert knowledge is required to join in), enjoy doing practical, hands on survey work and are qualified divers (required for Seasearch only).
