- How to get involved
Recycling makes a real difference to our environment. Reusing used products instead of using new raw materials conserves recourses. It saves energy by using less than that for producing new raw materials and it reduces the amount of waste that goes into landfill. Recycling also helps protect the environment, by reducing the need for extracting, refining and processing raw materials, which in turn reduces the amount of CO2 emitted. This is estimated to be the equivalent 5 million less cars on the road in the UK! Recycling can directly help raise funds for Kent Wildlife Trust as well. By recycling your printer cartridges, mobiles phones and electronic waste through the recommended suppliers, we benefit from direct donations to the Trust. And for further information on how and what you can recycle at home, work and in the garden please visit www.recyclenow.com/ |
