Skydive
When : 1st May 2011
Where: Headcorn Aerodrome
Who: Roger Green
Raised: £500
Roger says: "For many years I have wanted to do a Parachute Jump, especially after watching all of the "I'M A CELEBRITY, GET ME OUT OF HERE" episodes. My big challenge was I DO NOT like heights. Anyway, I decided that this year I was going to do it. I recently joined the KWT and viewed there website which was promoting a sponsored 10,000ft Parachute Jump (its actually 12,000ft). It's pretty scary as you gain altitude and the aeroplane door opens and you know you are the second one to go. As you take your turn you have to sit on the edge of the open doorway with your legs tucked under the fuselage but once you leave the aeroplane its an amazing adrenalin rush and an experience I will never forget. Fantastic". And raising over £500 for Kent Wildlife Trust is just an added bonus! For more details on a parachute jumps please contact
