Your legacy can make so much difference to wildlife in Kent.
Why leave a legacy to Kent Wildlife Trust?
Kent Wildlife Trust is the only charity working solely to protect Kent's threatened wildlife and countryside. Since our formation in 1958, some 7,500 acres of land across Kent have been acquired or taken into long term management as nature reserves. Without the foresight of Trust supporters many of these beautiful places would have been lost.
Why we need your help
Since World War II, 40% of ancient woodland, 97% of wildflower meadows and 80% of heathlands has been lost. We are trying to save these precious habitats by buying and managing nature reserves, keeping them at thier best for wildlife and encouraging people to visit, enjoy and understand them.
How your legacy will help
By making a bequest to Kent Wildlife Trust, however large or small, you can help ensure that part of Kent's natural heritage is safeguarded for future generations. Many people naturally associate legacies with death, but gifts to charity are all about life, through the healthy, vibrant and diverse natural world. Ensuring that the next generation grows up in a beautiful world and enjoys the wonders of nature, must be one of the most precious gifts.
Any gift left to Kent Wildlife Trust is tax-free so the money that would have gone to the Inland Revenue will be spent on saving wildlife. Your gift, however large or small will make a real difference for the future of Kent’s wildlife.
Memoriam Gifts
As well as legacies, in memoriam donations are a wonderful tribute to the life of someone who loved wildlife. Whether you donate instead of giving flowers at the funeral or wish to remember them at special times, these donations will ensure that your loved one's memory will continue through the healthy, diverse, natural world.
