  • In 2005 £25,000 was generously donated towards the refurbishment of the late 16th/early17th century Grade II listed Tyland Farmhouse, which is on the site of the Trust's headquarters. A further donation in December 2008 was allocated to this project.
  • In December 2006 a donation from the Trust was used towards the Tyland Barn pond restoration.
  • In 2007, the Trust gave a donation that was allocated to the hand washing facilities at Tyland Barn in order for Kent Wildlife Trust to comply with basic hygiene standards and improve Tyland Barn's facilities for visitors.

Thanks to the most generous support of the Cobtree Charity Trust Ltd as well as other donors including Kent County Council, we were able to complete these vital captial works and are able to offer a much improved experience for our visitors.
