30 hectares of Old fenland and 'improved' wet grassland with dykes and ditches, near Sandwich.

Unfortunately, Ham Fen is not open to the public and access is currently limited to events organised by Kent Wildlife Trust. This is necessary to protect the beavers and other sensitive wildlife from human disturbance. The site also contains deep mires and hidden channels which are potentially dangerous.
