Burham Marsh

A tidal reedbed on the meandering River Medway.

Burham Marsh is a tidal reedbed on the River Medway. It is a prime point to observe waterfowl and waders. Typical residents include kingfisher, cormorant, herons and geese. Reed and sedge warbler breed here. The rare marsh sow-thistle and marsh-mallow can be viewed here.
