The cost is only £5 for each child (over 8), accompanying adult goes free.

Family digital photography course for beginners

Saturday 19th June

10.30 am – 12.30 pm

‘Discover your urban wildlife wonderland’.  Learn how to use a digital camera to take creative images of wildlife, sometimes in the most unexpected settings ! We will provide all equipment including digital cameras and laptop. Appropriate for ages 11 upwards.  Led by Gili Armson.

Family Moth Morning

Saturday 17th July 
Tyland Barn
10.30 am– 12.30 pm

A brief  introduction to moths through a slide presentation. What are the differences between butterflies and moths ? Where might we look for moths? Camouflage techniques in moths. Tips on identification. Explanation of light trapping techniques. This will be followed by the excitement of an inspection of live moths trapped at  Tyland Barn the night before. Led by Keith Palmer.
