Following grant aided work in 2004, funded by MVCP (Medway Valley Countryside Partnership) and RLCI (Rail Link Countryside Initiative), this chalk grassland bank has been restored and supports a thriving population of the county scarce species, clustered bellflower. In addition, the nationally scarce man orchid can be seen at this site. Other species found here are: pyramidal orchid, musk mallow and cowslip.
