Saving the Garden of England

Education

Kent Wildlife Trust offers local opportunities to learn and discover more about our wonderful and varied environment and the wildlife around us. We encourage everyone to develop a respect and positive relationship with our Living Landscapes and take an active part in its protection.

Kent Wildlife Trust aims to provide children, young people and adults with a wide range of enjoyable, relevant and high quality learning experiences that promote wildlife and habitat conservation and sustainability. We aim to foster a lifelong interest in environmental issues which enrich our lives.

Our education programmes provide exciting and practical outdoor learning at our five visitors’ centres and as outreach within school grounds.

Activities with Kent Wildlife Trust are suitable for pupils at all key stages of education. Subjects studied are cross-curricular and can be used to support studies including geography, science, maths, English, art, history, creative writing and PSHE. Story days are also suitable for pre school and foundation stage children.
