Digital Media Volunteer

We're at the outset of relaunching our website, and we're looking for volunteers to help us

This role is ideal for those wishing to gain experience of working within digital media in a charity setting.  We currently receive around 10,000 visits each month from those looking to engage with our work and find out how they can protect Kent's wildlife.

You'll be helping us to migrate materials from our existing website to our new content management system and working alongside our teams to publish new and exciting content.  You don't need any development experience, although knowledge of html may be useful but we will be supplying full training, as well as providing written guidance notes.

You'll need great attention to detail and a proactive approach to your volunteering; we've never recruited for this role before, so there will be lots of ways your ideas will make a difference to us.

We anticipate this role taking up a minimum of 2 hours per week and being carried out from home, although you must be able to attend a training session with us on Saturday 3rd February at our head office at Tyland Barn near Maidstone for which reasonable travel expenses will be reimbursed.
