Saving the Garden of England

Corporate activities

Your company could book a Corporate Challenge Day for its staff. This is a unique opportunity to build morale and team work, help save Kent’s wildlife, and to generate positive publicity for your company.

Teams of your staff will work together on a project designed exclusively for your organisation to have a real and immediate benefit to wildlife.

We can take parties of most sizes from a minimum of 5 up to a maximum of 30 at any one time. We can recommend group size as appropriate to the challenge and your requirements.

The days are organised to suit all ranges of abilities and can be tailored to ensure that everyone can join in. We would, however, point out that working outside can be quite physical and would not recommend it for people with back problems or strains.

Opportunities

Reserve Volunteering

To help you honour your commitment to staff volunteering opportunities, we have a selection of activities and dates that employees can choose from. Further details can be found on our volunteering page (please put a link in if you can)

Gifts in kind

You can also help by donating your skills, experience, machinery and manpower to a particular project, or by donating your old office furniture, computers, vehicles or other equipment for our use.

Fundraising

Why not get your employees to fundraise for Kent Wildlife Trust? We can provide plenty of information about our work and recognition for their efforts – the more creative the idea the better!

Eg. Dress down days, collection boxes in reception, quiz nights or join one of our events (see our Fundraising Events page)

If you don’t want to arrange your own fundraising event why not join in one of ours? This can act as a gream team building opportunity!

Recycle

Recycle your inkjet cartridges for wildlife

We work in partnership with Inhouse Recycling – in return for every inkjet cartridge they receive on our behalf they donate at least 40% of the value of each cartridge recycled to the Trust, and best of all, they use a Freepost address, it doesn’t cost you a penny.

We can supply you with a stack of freepost envelopes – just call us on 01622 662012. Or send your cartridges directly (making sure you mention Kent Wildlife Trust) to:

Empty Printer Cartridge Appeal
Freepost ANG 20541
PO Box 193

(N.B. Epson or Epson compatible cartridges cannot be accepted at this time.)
