Outdoor Volunteering

Swale Area Volunteers

We're always looking for more volunteers to join our teams on Reserves across the county. Find out here where we are working, when and how you can get involved.

We're always looking for volunteers to join our outdoor tasks throughout the county. You'll be working alongside our Reserve Wardens and a team of friendly volunteers helping us to manage our Reserves for wildlife. This is a great way in which to spend time outside, meet new people and make a real difference to wildlife. Our work is seasonal, with mainly monitoring and survey work taking place throughout the summer months, and our Reserve management work taking place between September and March.

The dates of our activities are available to download below and you can use the table below to see what is happening across the county.  It's essential that you check the task list prior to attending and let the relevant Warden know you'll be joining us. You'll need to wear weather appropriate clothing, sturdy footwear and bring your lunch with you.  Those aged 16 and under must be accompanied by an adult.

If you'd like to discuss volunteering with us, please contact our Volunteer Team on 01622 662012 or via email.
