Survey deadline extended
Kent Wildlife Trust, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, is urging more people to contribute to the county’s biggest ever wildlife survey.
During the past six months, every household should have received the short questionnaire by post – which can also be completed online – with a deadline now extended until 14th November.
The Trust’s Chief Executive, John Bennett, said: “We have had an encouraging response to this unique survey so far with many interesting and, indeed, passionate viewpoints on what more can be done to protect and enhance the county’s precious wildlife.
“This is a rare opportunity to make your views heard and we would urge more Kent residents to support this vitally important survey which will help guide the Trust’s work in the challenging years ahead.”
All applicants will be entered into a prize draw for a hamper full of wildlife goodies and the winner will be announced – along with the survey findings – at the end of this year.
