One month remains to complete our survey

Kent residents who want to have their say about wildlife and environmental issues in the county have one month to complete Kent’s largest ever wildlife survey before the closing date on 31st October.

The This is Your Wildlife Survey is the initiative of Kent Wildlife Trust and has been sent to over 800,000 homes in Kent and Medway.

Kent Wildlife Trust is appealing to residents to contribute their views:

“As this is our 50th anniversary year it is the perfect time to take stock of what our constituents think of the state of wildlife in Kent. We are genuinely keen to hear people’s views and hope that the findings will inform both the work of the Trust and the environmental policies of our local authorities moving forward,” said John Bennett, Chief Executive of Kent Wildlife Trust.

The survey asks seven questions covering issues such as the importance of wildlife places, the role of councils and local authorities in protecting wildlife, what more needs to done to protect wildlife in Kent and the importance of a political party’s environmental policy.

It only takes 5 minutes to complete the survey so why not do it today?

Members of the public can also complete the survey online at the Trust’s new website www.kentwildlifetrust.org.uk. Everyone who completes the survey has the opportunity to win one of five fantastic wildlife hampers which include bird feeders and food, wildlife books, a bird box, and other wildlife goodies.
