Survey deadline extended

Kent Wildlife Trust, which is celebrating its 50th anniversary, is urging more people to contribute to the county’s biggest ever wildlife survey.

During the past six months, every household should have received the short questionnaire by post – which can also be completed online   – with a deadline now extended until 14th November.

 

Flower Power draws nature lovers to meadow

Hundreds of visitors were treated to a rare wildlife spectacle in perfect conditions at Kent Wildlife Trust’s Marden Meadow nature reserve near Staplehurst at the weekend (10 & 11 May).

The BBC Springwatch Action Team (SWAT) has transformed an oasis for wildlife at a neglected meadow in Queenborough on the Isle of Sheppey thanks to the support of Kent Wildlife Trust, Swale Borough Council and Groundwork Kent and Medway.

Free family wildlife event in East Kent

There’ll be Highland cattle, Exmoor ponies and great wildlife activities at Kent Wildlife Trust’s ‘This is Your Wildlife’ event at Queendown Warren nature reserve from 10am – 4pm on Saturday 2nd and Sunday 3rd August.
