The Bredhurst Woodland Action Group (BWAG) was formed in May 2005. It is a registered charity (no. 1129178) and works closely with Bredhurst Parish Council. BWAG is working to restore and preserve 600 acres of ancient woodland which was under threat from fly tipping and the illegal use of off-road vehicles. The area has now been transformed and is widely used by walkers, horse riders and nature lovers.
